Young dentist displaying exceptional performance

Sai Babbati (Class of 2016) showed great tenacity in his role as vice – captain of Boarding when he was at school, juggling his academic achievements as well as the responsibilities of leadership.

This year sees Sai enter his 3rd year in a 5 year Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at James Cook University and as part of this year’s curriculum will be responsible for treating patients in the JCU Dental Unit. Having just turned 19 he will be one of the youngest clinicians in Australia.

He credits his hardworking ethics to Ipswich Grammar School and he has had to show perseverance in his efforts to impress his fellow students and lecturers so as to get the opportunity to work with his patients.

Given his positive attitude Sai will no doubt thrive in the opportunity and challenges ahead as he looks ahead in completing his degree in the coming years.
