Old Boys welcome new President

Old Boys welcome new President

The Old Boys are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Kenman (Class of 1983) to the position of President the Old Boys Working Group. Andrew will take over the position from Alec Teevan (Class of 2012) who after four years in the role has stepped down to focus on his legal career. Alec has made a very successful start in the field of law after graduating in 2017 and feels that it’s the right time to hand the reigns to someone else whilst his focus is required elsewhere. Alec will still look to provide input to the Working Group where possible with their work for the Old Boys.

Andrew is a passionate Old Boy who has been on the Working Group since its inception over three years ago. He is very engaged in all Old Boy activities throughout the year and can be found cheering on the boys at the GPS home games. Andrew brings to the role a commitment to continue the work of growing the engagement of the Old Boys at each event throughout the year and a drive to ensure the Old Boys of Ipswich Grammar School are seen to be vital cog in what is the IGS community.

The Working Group, in conjunction with the IGS staff, have developed a schedule of events that will cater for the needs of all Old Boys in 2019 and invite all of the Ipswich Grammar School community to get involved and celebrate with them. We congratulate Andrew on his appointment and thank Alec for all of his efforts over the years.
