Old Boys Masterclass – Health

Each term, Old Boys are invited back to School to contribute to a Q & A panel with current students. The Masterclasses are grouped by industry with the aim of attracting Old Boys in different stages of their career and within different streams.

Current students who are interested in pursuing a career after graduation in one of these industries are then invited to ask questions that may assist them in learning more about the day to day life after University.

Recently, four Old Boys returned to IGS to be a part of a panel for a Health Care Masterclass. Greg Delbridge (Class of 1969), retired Director, Mater Children’s Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, Brendan Thompson (Class of 2000) a current GP, Stuart Adcock (Class of 2011) a Registered Nurse at Ipswich Hospital and Sean Adcock (Class of 2013) a current Medical student spoke to a group of Year 10-12 students about studying and entering the field of medicine and health care.

If you would like to be a part of a Masterclass, please contact Community Development Manager Dave Rosenthal on 07 3813 9651 or drosenthal@ipswichgrammar.com
