Old Boys Masterclass – Engineering

Old Boys Masterclass – Engineering

Each term, Old Boys are invited back to School to contribute to a Q & A panel with current students. The Masterclasses are grouped by industry with the aim of attracting Old Boys in different stages of their career and within different streams.

Current students who are interested in pursuing a career after graduation in one of these industries are then invited to ask questions that may assist them in learning more about the day to day life after University.

Recently, four Old Boys returned to IGS to be a part of a panel for an Engineering Masterclass. Jim Whybird (Class of 1973), Greg Eberhardt (Class of 1989), Geordie Galvin (Class of 1992) and Alex Leece (Class of 2004) spoke to a group of Year 10-12 students about studying and entering the field of Engineering.

If you would like to be a part of a Masterclass, please contact Community Development Manager Dave Rosenthal on 07 3813 9651 or drosenthal@ipswichgrammar.com
